Ask for the smallest useful view

show-me tells an agent to choose a compact visual for the question in front of it. That can be a call tree, file tree, component tree, Mermaid sequence, pseudocode block, or a diff that shows how the shape changes.

npx skills add humanlayer/skills --skill show-me

Ask your agent how a route works or which files own a feature. The answer should use a small call tree, file tree, component tree, or diagram instead of another broad explanation.

A diagram can still be confidently wrong

The skill changes the answer format, not the model’s knowledge. File names, calls, and boundaries can still be invented. Check every label against the repository before you use the diagram as documentation or a refactor plan.
