Extract patterns before asking for copy

The Customer Research skill gives an agent two routes: analyse material you already have, or gather evidence from relevant public communities and review sites. It extracts jobs, pains, trigger events, desired outcomes, alternatives, objections, and the exact phrases customers use.

A useful first job is to give it five or more interview transcripts or support threads from one customer segment. Ask for a source-linked table of recurring themes and quotes before asking for positioning or copy. The skill requires confidence labels and warns against building a persona from fewer than five independent data points.

Its thresholds reduce invention but do not remove sampling bias. Support tickets overrepresent problems, online reviews attract strong opinions, and public forums may not resemble paying customers. Keep every quote tied to its source, segment the evidence, and do not turn one loud complaint into a market truth.
